Secretary General Kenneth Jeyaretnam and the Reform Party Wish Minister Heng Swee Keat a Speedy Recovery.

We were concerned to read that Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat collapsed during a Cabinet Meeting today. According to the Prime Minister’s Office he suffered a stroke.

Mr Kenneth Jeyaretnam, our Secretary General, knows Mr Heng personally from when they were both studying economics at Cambridge University. Mr Jeyaretnam had the pleasure of inviting Mr Heng as his guest to several dinners in college during their student days.

He and his family are in our thoughts and we send our best wishes for a speedy and full recovery
